I arrived at the lodge at the end of my first leg of the Great Glen Cycle Trek, my bike having broken down, my debit card lost and my confidence rattled. Dennis directed me to a gorgeous hot tub in the beautiful garden where I luxuriated while he "made a few calls". Subsequently he took me and the bike back... More

If you are planning on walking the Great Glen Way, this is THE place to book on your Laggan stop-over. My sister and I stayed here and would highly recommend it. Dennis collected us from laggan, (at no extra charge), and took us back to Invergarry. One simply cannot fail to get along with Dennis! We pre-booked our evening meal... More

This b&b was our base for four nights, whilst myself and my two biker buddy's toured round the very picturesque west coast of Scotland. We arrived late on Saturday evening to very warm welcome from Dennis and Helen. The facilities were excellent with a large garage for us to store our motorbikes. Food was great morning and evening. We even... More

We stayed in 5 B&Bs in Scotland this year, and this was the clear winner. Very helpful & welcoming hosts providing great breakfasts (with perfect porridge). Room & en suite was comfortable, with red squirrel visiting garden as added bonus.

After a long day walking the Great Glen Way Dennis and Helen made us feel most welcome.Although we are "hotel people" this was a most delightful establishment. Helen cooked us a beautiful dinner and then both our hosts joined us for a relaxing post-prandial chat.Breakfast was wholesome with haggis and black pudding(not compulsory) and Dennis then delivered us back to... This was one of our overnight stays whilst walking the Great Glen Way. Dennis and Helen are friendly and welcoming hosts and our room was comfortable and clean and we had an enjoyable breakfast before donning our boots for the next leg of our trek. There are not many options for dining out in the area so they do offer... More

We were 4 people and we were treated by Dennis and Helen as we were part of their family. The place is beautiful and very well detailed. Excellent welcoming and very relaxing hot tub outdoor. We couldn't ask for better, this couple really loves their job. We will be back for sure. Giuseppe and Olga

We booked it by phone as base for our travel to Isle of Skye. Prety close to Loch Ness, at just 10 minutes by car. Good rooms, very comfortable beds, hot water and good breakfast. Very niceground heating. Totally recommended. Helen and Dennis are really cool hosts. There are also 2 nice jacuzzis (hot tubs) to get relaxed on them.

Arrived with a travel sick toddler and had to ask to have a washing of some of her clothes and her coat done. They weren't too happy about this request but they did it anyway and we were very grateful. The house looks nice from the outside but is VERY nice fom the inside. The whole house was absolutely spotless.... More

Helen and Dennis proved to be the most charming and accommodating hosts. They catered for special dietary requirements that matched any top class restaurant. Glen Albyn is furnished tastefully, incorporating a Scottish ambiance without being 'cliche.' Although we didn't try them, the Hot Tubs sounded great.
