Most holiday inn express have microwaves and mini fridge. This one did not. Executive suite very small. Toilet leaked for about 8 hours before they came to fix it. We had to place all the towels on the floor to soak up the water. Stains on the walls and carpet.

I will start by saying I am not a fan of the city of Memphis. I had business at St. Jude for a week and need a close inexpensive hotel for my trip. This hotel fit the bill, only 3-4 mile from St. Jude and with-in the company budget. Having never stayed at a HI express I wasn't sure what...

Short cab ride to Beale Street. A few fast food type restaurants close by. Hotel was nice and clean. All of the employees were very nice and helpful. There was security onsite in the evening. The breakfast was not much to talk about. There was no hot water in the hotel during the two nights we stayed. It appears the...

This location was easy to find and convenient to many different Memphis attractions. It was close to Beale Street, yet far enough away to be quiet. The hotel was very clean, attractive, and well maintained. Amenities included a full hot breakfast, wireless internet, fitness center, and free parking. Overall, very satisfied. We would definitely stay there again the next time...

Great location. Walking distance to the Trolley to go into Downtown/Beale. Far enough away to be quiet at night. Older property but very well maintained.
As for the neighbourhood its clean and quiet by Memphis standards. I don't know where in Memphis is less sketchy, but I can think of lots of places that are more sketchy!

It appears to be an older hotel/motel that was made over into a Holiday Inn Express sometime in the last decade. It has all the features of a typical Holiday Inn Express and is well maintained. There is plenty of free parking on site. The front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful, even down to helping direct us to...

The location near the medical center worked for us...although neighborhoods nearby were a little shaky, things seemed fine immediately in the medical center area. we could get to downtown via the trolley a couple blocks away (the trolley was quaint but a disappointment as a mass transit system), and could easily drive to downtown, Graceland, the zoo, etc.
The rooms...

First off, if you're looking to partake in the nightlife of Memphis or late nights on Beale Street, this is probably not the place for you. It is a short drive from those areas, and for a number of reasons, NOT a walkable distance.
That being said, I stayed here for a few days to attend a few different events...

This hotel was overall nice. There rooms are pretty expensive, we booked for a wednesday through a 3rd party(expedia) and paid $101 bucks. We notice some mystery stains on the linen and could not determine if the bed was dressed with clean or dirty linen. We also made it to breakfast around 6:50am and notice the guy removing the bacon...
