The Motion Detector or IR detector thermostat is unsatisfactory - Especially when it faces the empty hallway outside the bathroom! Having to get up at 3 AM and walk by the thermostat to get the AC to turn on is unacceptable.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Hampton Inn Milan. Convenient to area restaurants that offered discounts when we showed our room key. Near Bethel University and UT Martin. Lobby was spacious for gatherings. Great Staff and Great Room. Thanks Hampton Inn

My stay Hampton Milan was great except for their beds. The beds did not sleep well my family and I tossed and turned all night. However the manager and staff were excellent, the breakfast was great and the hotel was very clean and up to date. I will return again in the future.

Everything was great: Clean rooms, quiet and restful nights sleep, great service from every staff member and very helpful with early checkin after traveling all night from Texas. Only wish is that internet access was part of the package, not an extra expense.

The Good - This is a fairly new property, and it seems to be well maintained. It is conveniently located right behind Perkins restaurant, and Hampton Inn guests get 20% off their meal at the restaurant by showing their room key. New looking hotel. Nice location and convenient to food resources. Amazed they ahd NO refrigerator in the rooms...NONE of the rooms. Absolutely amazed that this is 2013 and I have stayed in many Hampton's and Hilton's and they have always had refrigerators even in the oldest of facilities.

This hotel is new, maybe 1-3 years old. It's clean with all the updates found in all of the new Hampton Inns. Cookies and coffee are provided in the lobby all day. I stopped here overnight while traveling. It is a bit off the usual interstate routes but I like to explore a bit on every drive. Hotel is a bit hidden but for a little town like Milan it was pleasantly surprising on how clean, modern, updated and furnished it was. Often couldn't find anyone at the front desk bit for a small town not surprising. Cookies fresh baked every evening at the front desk are to die for.
