A traditional cosy village pub almost on the beach with some of the best fish dishes we've ever had. Run with a real 'inn' welcome to all by Sian and Simon and their excellent staff. A great mix of locals and visitors. The fish served is provided by the local fishermen and the skate wing I ate, perfectly prepared by... More

Thirteen of us spent an enjoyable Saturday afternoon celebrating our Dad's 80th birthday. Service was appropriate and very friendly. The choice of fish was quite overwhelming and very well prepared and cooked. The food isn't cheap, but is good value for the quality. If you don't like fish the choices are comewhat limited, but this is well advertised. Children ate... More

Lovely cosy pub with views of the sea. The meals weren't the cheapest but they are made with freshly caught produce and there was a large choice of local fish dishes, very tasty. The starters are big so you may want to share! The owners were friendly and the service was good. Highly recommended!

I would recommend booking. Once settled good service good & friendly, fresh fish selection very good and ate even better. The Cawl is something not be missed.Going back for a second visit this evening, as a result of our last visit. I feel I must comment on sally W dog problem, I am allergic to cat and dog hair and... We visited this pub in November, when we walked in the landlady was wreathed in smiles, that is until she saw our very small terrier, she looked as if our dog had just left a parcel for her at her feet, we don't allow dogs. Well I can understand some restaurants don't allow dogs, but as this pub is on... More

We have enjoyed many visits to the Griffin Inn at Dale over the years but were very dissapointed during our last visit. It was a busy weekend and we were told they had no record of our booking. We spotted the booking in their book and pointed it out to them. We were given a table 45 minutes after our... More

We often holiday in this part of Pembrokeshire and look forward to being able to visit the Griffin. It has become a treat 'tea' destination for our children as the staff are so friendly and kind to them; and if we can find a way to getting babysitting it is our favourite night out of the year as a couple.... We called in unplanned with hungry kids after a walk at St Ann's Head just as the kitchen was opening. The staff and service were attentive and friendly with a nice atmosphere in the pub and board games for the kids to play with which was very handy. The real ale I had was good quality and well kept, I... More

We stayed in Dale for 4 nights and ate at The Griffin on 3 of those. I think that says it all! It's a small but warm and friendly pub and the staff and management go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Food is obviously the landlord's passion and it shows. The fresh fish on the daily...
