If you are looking for a place to hold a small conference in a lovely setting then this place will not disappoint. The old house is lovely with a lot of character. The rooms are neat and clean. The food was absolutely fantastic and the service matched it. The conference rooms are good with plenty of natural light, although did... More

Just attended a family wedding here... what a fantastic venue. The staff were absolutely wonderful and the menu well what can I say, sublime. We were looked after so well and I highly recommend this place as a perfect wedding venue. Great gardens for photos too. Overall 5 star.

Stayed for work, rooms in the grounds of a lovely old house, rooms basic but clean and very comfortable! It was cold but rooms warm. Lovely staff, didn't eat there but wish we had! Charming town and area. A great weekend escape place.

Paid $350 for room dinner and breakfast. I knew in advance the rooms were small but they really are small for that price and rather basic in decoration - painted brick walls were from my student days. Staff are lovely and food is excellent. However, the swimming pool was closed off and rather unclean and the tennis court is growing... More

Campaspe house is a lovely country guest house just outside of Woodend. We stayed for two nights in a courtyard room which had an adjoining ensuite. The room itself was smallish however it was comfortable and, best of all, warm! This is not five star accommodation, and neither are you paying a five star price, however a mini bar or at... More

I first went to Campaspe House for a High Tea with friends. The High Tea, by city standards is very good value for money and I particularly like the feel of several small rooms with their own charm, as opposed to one large noisy, dining room. This gave me the chance to look around, with the kind help of the... More

Thank you very much for your continued patronage. I am very pleased to hear that the initial High Tea experience made you come for a 'night away'. Even more pleasing is, that we were able to live up to your expectation on both ocassion. I have placed your comment on the staff notice board, so they can see your appreciation.... More

I recently stayed at Campaspe House for a conference, and everything about it was fantastic. The surrounds were stunning, the staff were very helpful and polite, and the room was tastefully decorated and welcoming. The main house was beautiful with open fire places, a pool/snooker room and nice lounge areas. One thing that really blew me away however was for... More

From the minute we arrived we felt welcomed and at home, with comfortable lounges, wood fires and views of the beautiful gardens. While we were not able to see the period rooms in the main house, would certainly recommend the 2 garden view rooms as these are not on the main walkway and have a lovely view of the trees.... More

My wife was arriving on an international flight into Tullamarine at 8.45pm on an Easter Sunday evening and we wanted something not too far from the airport but in the countryside, vaguely in the direction of Canberra, where we were heading the following day. Much Googling threw up the Campaspe as fitting the bill - only 40 minutes from Tullamarine... More

I recently stayed at Campaspe country house for a girls night away. From the minute of our booking, through arrival and throughout the stay the staff service was excellent, friendly, and helpful.
