Dirty! Someone had been eating fried chicken and the crumbs were all over the floor around the table. Wasn't sure about the sheets either. If my company had not already booked a room there I would have left.

The plus for this hotel is convenient location and right in the middle of everything in Oakland. The price was low compared to the Memphis hotels. Pros: Very convenient location right on main highway, across from Walmart and had several restaurants nearby. Rooms were good sized, pretty clean, staff was accommodating. Pets allowed with a minimal charge. Wireless available. Cons: Continental breakfast was very poor, muffins, bagels stale, fruit old.we found the place unsecure.

This place was recommended by our company website. It was terrible!!! The room a/c didn't work, the shower head, which was 4 foot tall, was falling off the wall, the toilet plugged up, and you could hear the people in the rooms across the hall. Not that they were being exceptionally loud, but the walls were that thin!!!

Due to a new business opportunity, I had several lengthy stays at the Oakland Colliseum Days Inn. I found the staff was pleasant and accomodating. My rooms were always clean and housekeeping was very cooperative in working around my ever changing schedule. The hotel was secure well maintained. I will stay there upon my next visit to Oakland.
