My husband and myself, and 4 other couples stayed here in the Buena Vista Lodge from 2/17/12-2/20/12, and that cabin was just OK. The first thing that turned me COMPLETELY off was that the bedspreads were VERY dirty and had an awful smell. I had to go out and purchase washing powder to wash them before all my guests arrived.... I was concerned b/c I read somewhere that Big Black Bear Lodge is only 1600 sq. ft. If that's true, the layout is very good. We really enjoyed our stay at covered bridge resort. The cabin "3 Bears" was wonderful for our family. Loved waking up each day being welcomed by the peacocks on the back porch. SOOOO peaceful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! cant wait to return!
