We arrived late without a reservation and did not know what to expect. We were put in a King room (I think it was 134). Room was very clean, nicely decorated and spacious. We really enjoyed the rocking chairs on the porch. We would stay again if in the area.

This motel is on a beautiful piece of land - rolling hills, etc. The lodge is very attractive and you feel you could put yourself back in time to when this motel was more than likely the prime place to stay in Townsend. Unless you stay in building 3 which is new - ALL other rooms are VERY dated, musty, mold, cobwebs, dark and just not where you'd want to spend a night.
