The Hotel Blessing is historic and charming and worth a stay at $35/ night for the feeling of early 20th century Texas. Rooms are small, spare, and most share a bathroom. Hotel Blessing is noted for it's Historical Marker. An arcitect from Victoria built the hotel in 1906 and in 1977 it was listed to the Blessing Historical Foundation, Soon after it was restored and entered into the National Register of Historical Places, the first official listing in Matagorda County with this particular distinction. The Hotel Blessing is open for buisness we have several rooms to rent out and have daily and weekly rates. We now have wi-fi for our customers and are getting ready to do some renovating and updating the rooms. The Blessing Hotel coffee shop is open for breakfast 7am - 10 am and open for lunch 11am - 2 pm. Breakfast is home cooking, order off the menu and lunch is country cooking, and you serve yourself from the pots that are kept warm on the old antique stoves located in the dining room. We are currently set up to accept cash only so come out and enjoy the Hotel and the Coffee Shop for a good old time experience.
