Lost Pines is a great family resort! There are many activities for kids of all ages and for families. Your family can enjoy watching the movies outdoors each night after S'mores or floating down the lazy river during the day. There is also a pool for Adults Only, a spectacular golf course and wonderful day spa. You can find great... More

We just returned from this hotel and I'm sad to say I did not enjoy our stay. Upon arrival our reservation and the price we booked a room for was wrong. I hoped this was the end of problems when we checked in but boy was I wrong. Our first night in our room... The AC wasn't working properly. We... More

Our medical group returned to the Hyatt Lost Pines resort for our annual retreat this past weekend. As usual, we arrived to welcoming staff and everything in order. This year, however, a thunderstorm caused changes to our plans. From what I could tell, the staff handled everything very well. Our meeting room was comfortable and well stocked. The resort rooms... Hyatt Lost Pines is one of my favorite Spa Resorts in Texas. A two hour 15 minute no traffic drive from Houston. You turn off 71, and proceed down this very hilly, winding and heavily forested roadway to the property, stopping for the occasional horse or animal crossing. Then you come upon this well done hotel resort. They greet you... More

We've recently returned from a 2 night getaway to Lost Pines Hyatt and really enjoyed ourselves. The grounds are beautiful, extremely relaxing and felt more like a large B&B than a resort. We went midweek as an anniversary trip for couples and the resort was very quiet then. By the time we were leaving on Friday, the families and kiddos... More

Where oh where do I even begin?! This hotel is the BEST family vacation spot near Austin and Houston! Families everywhere - kids for your kids to play with - swimming - games and more. Then great food - great wine selections - mixed drinks - and places to sit and watch the day go by. But bring your wallet... More

Drove from San Antonio to Bastrop in just 1.5 hours. Arrived at the hotel by 11am, not expecting our room to be ready- but it was :) The room was clean and had a nice balcony overlooking a grassy area and plenty of trees. The hotel was active with lots of guests, however the room was nice and quite. Traveling... More

We went for Easter weekend - and we could not fit in all of the Easter Activities that the hotel put on! It was such a wonderful place for families, with the smores, outdoor movies at night with popcorn and of course the Easter Long-Horns! What a great way to spend time with family and friends!

Hyatt Lost Pines holds a special place in my heart. I grew up in East Texas but now live in Alaska so when we get the chance to visit the Austin area we always opt to stay here. The resort is very nice, although I personally do not think the rooms live up to what they charge per night ($250-$300... More
