Very friendly service. Good selection for breakfast. The hotel has some age on it but is very clean and well kept. Very good cable television and the free wifi is plenty fast for email and basic internet surfing. Good location along highway #54 and close to restaurants and gas stations.

Very nice staff person on late shift. This hotel is not what trip advisor says it is. Rip in sheets, bathroom door jammed so that it would not close, no hot water for morning shower, stained towels and sparse breakfast. Morning manager not helpful. Will never stay there again and will think twice before staying at a choice hotel again!

I was pleasantly surprised how beautiful and large the room I had was. And it was $19 cheaper than the Days Inn down the road. I highly recommend staying here. The only issue I had was that my mother tried phoning me through the front desk and no one answered the phone, it just rang and rang.

We were making a move from Dallas, TX to Colorado Springs, CO and Dalhart, TX was our halfway point on the drive. The Roadway (formally Comfort Inn) in Dalhart was a pleasant surprise. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and fairly large. The parking spaces were extremely wide which made it real easy to get in and out with all the luggage. Very friendly and accommodating owners. And we enjoyed a late evening swim in the lovely pool. Overpriced for a Rodeway Inn and I'm sure they have some quite nice rooms but if you are travelling with a pet you won't get one of them.
