Sadly we only stayed one night. The house is beautifully restored to its original splendor and furnished with AMAZING antiques including a hand-carved French bed from 1857. We stayed in the Daisy room which was very spacious and had all of the amenities we needed, quite beautiful of course as is all the rooms. The next morning we had a... More

What a lovely visit! We spent the night for our anniversary, and could not have been more pampered. We were met by the innkeeper and had a nice chat about the history of The Daisy Polk Inn and its furnishings. And what a history! Our room was delightful, with comfy bed & chairs, fluffy towels, roomy shower. After a wonderful... More

As a solo traveller looking to spend a few days in Dallas after a business trip, I wanted somewhere friendly and cosy in a residential neighbourhood, and the Daisy Polk was exactly what I was looking for. Patrick and Wayne were fantastically welcoming and helpful, and Michael's breakfasts were delicious. The house itself has been beautifully restored with period furniture... More

Had the good fortune of being the only guests at the Daisy Polk. The historic house is warm and quiet, and Michael took great care of us and made us feel at home. The only hiccup was a car alarm that went off at night for a solid 30 minutes, but that's city-living for ya. Will definitely stay at the... More

We (sadly) only stayed for one night at the Daisy - But the next time we visit Texas, we will definitly come again. We felt very welcome, and both Patrick, Michael and Wayne had the time to tell us the best sights and restaurants in the area, and Patrick took the time to tell us a bit about Texas, Texans... More

The inn is located is a great area within walking distance to great restaurants and nightlife. Private parking and continental breakfast is included as well and Chef Michael is an amazing cook. Be sure to order his full breakfast and don't leave out the awesome hot chocolate. My daughter and her husband joined us for it one morning and we... More

We stayed three nights in Dallas at the Daisy - Michael is a wonderful wealth of knowledge. he gave us a short version of the history of Miss Daisy. Michael knew of great restaurants and the best area attractions. In addition the breakfast he made us was amazing! The inn is comfortable, welcoming and so restful. The neighborhood is very... More

Stayed 2 nights in the Julie Room, which is located in a separate building to the main house (facing onto Dickason Ave). We found the service to be inconsistent – our host on check-in had limited knowledge and was largely unhelpful. We also found them to be a bit inflexible – our booking confirmation asked for 24 hours notice of... More

Why stay at a hotel when you can have first class service at the Daisy? Our hosts Wayne, Patrick and Michael made Dallas come to life with great recommendations for things to do, places to see and places to eat. Also, so easy to navigate public transport to and from downtown. I'm not sure why anyone would stay anywhere else.

On a spontaneous art-viewing excursion from San Antonio, to get away for a while after a medical procedure, we found The Daisy Polk Inn online, not knowing anything about Dallas. As soon as we arrived we knew we found the perfect place to be: a relaxing space in a beautiful B&B. Patrick and Michael, there to take good care of... More
