We were very pleased with our stay. Our room was fantastic - spacious, nicely decorated, and very new. The hotel was spotless and the staff friendly. We couldn't have asked for a better stay from a mid-tier hotel. Another excellent Hampton Inn! Well done!

You can't say that there is anything particularly special about this hotel, but it does deliver on what I have found to be fairly consistent, decent quality of Hampton Inn's. I have been to Galveston many times, but this is my first at the Hampton Inn. This is a little more expensive that my norm, but the rooms are a lot nicer and there was a breakfast included. The rooms were very comfortable and the bed was great. I loved the location as it is so close to the seawall.

I tarvel the world and it seems the hotel prices in Galveston are way too high. Not sure why, but way over priced for Galveston. We never eat the breaksfast because it is the same all the time. Hotels should look into giving coupons to different eateries in town.

So being die hard tripadvisors we looked at the reviews before booking a room. The original hotel we booked turned out to be terrible, our room smelled bad, etc. So we called Hampton and they had 1 room left. What a difference it made to have a nice, well kept hotel. People were nice, free breakfast and clean rooms.

We had a small group in town to see a show at the 1894 Grand. The rooms were spacious and clean. The rooms were quiet and the beds were comfortable. The hotel is across the street from Wal-Mart, which is super convenient. The beach is less than a block away.
