Stayed here over night to visit family in the hospital. Within a couple of minutes of getting in room 407 I saw a roach in the bathroom. Then went in the kitchen and there were two more. Before I knew it we had seen six and then two in the morning before we left. They did ask us to come down for bug spray but that wasn’t enough. The lady at check outs only words were would you like your receipt. If you can afford this search for something better. Wouldn’t recommend this one to any clients.

Stay away!!!! This place is a dump! Started with the strong smell of urine in hallway. The room was outdated, which for the price is understandable. What isn't ok was the roaches( We saw at least 9) the blood on the walls, the mold and stains on the mattress, the sink that wouldn't drain and the shower that wouldn't work. When told front desk didn't seem surprised or even cared!! The only pleasant worker was the shuttle driver, who they sent to attempt to fix the shower. STAY AWAY!!!

This hotel is very old and need a renovation now. I would not like to return to this hotel. The suite was very small and tight. The location was not too bad. The outside of the hotel looks very bad. Not a pleasant site surrounding the hotel.

This hotel was amazing especially the front desk employees specifically Ms.Ashley , She was so sweet even while I had a million questions. She also went out of her to give me ideas and things to do while visiting here in Houston . Another employee that stood out for me was the shuttle driver Mr.Gary , he was very sweet and made very nice conversation with his passengers . This is will definitely be my hotel of choice for when I visit again 👍🏻.

Our AC unit was not working, and within half an hour, Henderson (our Maintenance Tech), had replaced the entire unit. He was friendly, fast, and stayed to help us even though he was supposed to leave for the day. I hope Mainstay takes care of him the way he took care of us.

Shuttle driver doesn’t wear mask transporting patients to MD Anderson. Shuttle departs on the hour only, starting at 7am. Rooms are ok, with small kitchen stocked with dollar store items. Saw one cockroach. Small commissary is expensive. Friendly front desk.

The hotel is definitely dated and it’s not in a desirable area. The surrounding buildings are run down. There’s only one elevator and it’s on one side of the building which means a lot of walking if your room is on the opposite side of the building. You can only enter the building through the lobby which is tedious if your room it’s not near the lobby. The staff is friendly and provides good customer service. The manager was very helpful.

I would give this place negative stars if I could. I arrived at 1am Saturday morning (Friday night), went into the bathroom, and there were 10 cockroaches running around the bathroom. Worst first impression I've ever had and I've flown over 5m miles. Front Desk seemed concerned but they were full and I had to get up at 7 so I really had to crash there. Well, here I am Sunday night and there are still roaches in the room. I've counted 9 in the last 20 minutes. I called the Front Desk and they didn't give a damn. The answer was "you can talk to the manager at 8am." I've stayed in hundreds of hotels in dozens of countries and this one is dead last. This place is why the phrase "roach motel" exists. They couldn't pay me to come back. Stay far away!

I must say first thing, the room was clean. The staff was very friendly. We checked in after 8 pm and there was only one person working. She was getting it done, but it really is unfair to have her working by herself. That said, the placed smelled lived in, like old cooking oil. My door had a big gap between it and the hallway. The walls were thin. I could hear everyone's conversation at 3 in the morning.... my neighbors were night owls. The kitchenette had 2 burners, a dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, and small sink. There weren't any outlets near the bed to plug in my chargers. There is definitely an outlet shortage. I had to use the one in the bathroom. There was one near the couch. I counted 2 available. Most were occupied by the lights of the nightstand. The nightstands did not have an outlet, which I was expecting. The bathroom sink would not drain. The roaches were the deal breaker. I just couldn't. We were supposed to stay 2 weeks, I only lasted 1 night. It is a good deal for the price if you are on a budget. It was roughly $60/ night. I was in town to help with the water crisis and didn't book this hotel. My teammate was suspicious based on the photos on line, but we thought we would check it out regardless.
