I transit frequently through the Houston Intercontinental Airport and have stayed at most of the properties in the area. I had not yet tried the Baymont as it had only opened within the last year or so. Nice looking motel, but there is no soundproofing between rooms. It seemed like we were sharing our room with 6 other couples. No one was obnoxiously loud; just the usual television, conversation, toilet flushing, etc noises all night long. Breakfast was good for economy brand motel. Our family of 4 stayed for 1 evening at this Baymont prior to our airplane departure the next day. All that was available was a "suite" with King bed and sleeper sofa. I neglected to ask how large the sleeper sofa was. It appeared to be a full size, which could barely fit our 2 boys, ages 10 and 8.... more
