Got this hotel through hotwire whom listed it as a 3 star. This hotel is definetely not a 3 star. In a nutshell this hotel is dated and in need of renovation. The room was clean but everything about it is outdated. There are far better options in Killeen. More

I stayed at the Hawthorne Suites in Killeen, TX, in September, 2009, while working at Fort Hood. My very first impression was the smell of mildew throughout the building. STayed at this Hawthorn Suites in September. The room had several crickets. Appeared this was a time of swarming. Even the hotel lady in the breakfast room mentioned they can never get rid of crickets. One computer and it's never cleaned. The workout room is never washed down. More
