II tried to make a reservation in 2013 for Lindsay Inn for Muenster's Germanfest two months in advance and was told that they hold a certain number of rooms for workers who may or may not stay there and they refused my cash payment for a room. I went to Whitesboro instead and had NO problems. This year, 2013, I... More

We stay at Lindsay Inn and the stay was great. The rooms were big and clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I had never heard fo Lindsay Inn until we were looking for a place to stay in the Gainesville area. Lindsay is about 4 miles from Gainesville and worth the short distance to get a nice room... More

I was kind of hesitant to stay here from reading the other reviews but it turned out pretty good. When called in to book the reservation, was treated with a courteous greet and the process was very smooth. When at the hotel to check in, first we drove around the hotel and in the parking lot and it was impressively... More

I have stayed at Lindsay Inn many times and here is why I keep returning: The hotelier will work hard to insure your stay is comfortable and relaxing. The ammenities offered rival any big chain, hands down. Spacious rooms and pleasant accoutrements including HD Channels on the big flatscreens. It is very reasonably priced. Finally, a place that gets it.... More

Just spent the weekend there. Not much of a choice in the area. I expected to see something similar to other $120 / nite hotels I stay at but was more comparable to a $50 hotel. In our room, a double, we had two (one per bed) horrible pillows, 2 small towels, mattresses below par. Staff was rude and I... More

Average room. No frills. No kleenex in room. Nice tv. It's a basic place to sleep. Easy to find, but the night I stayed, they were pretty full, and had raised their rates by about 50%. Grrrr....

Due to work, and I thank my lucky stars that I even have a job, I had to stay at a hotel for several months during the week. My first week here, I stayed at lindsay inn. Within the next few weeks, I tried a few of the other hotels in the area, but the last one I stayed in... More

I checked into the Lindsay Inn because it was the only available place close to work assignment. When I returned to my room, the laptop that had been left downloading on the nightstand had been knocked off and the screen broken. The middle eastern couple in charge would NOT give owners name and insurance information. The husband advised he had... More

I should have suspected something when I phoned to make a reservation on 3-21-11 to book a room for Saturday night, 3-26-11. The phone range several times and a woman finally answered, "Hello?". "Hello?" for a business? I had to ask, "Is this the Lindsay Inn"? to which she said yes (in a tone that indicated I should have KNOWN... More

This little motel is a good alternative to the overpriced rooms in Gainesville and Thackerville. Much better than Rodeway Inn, Days Inn, and Budget Host Inn for the same money. Room was clean, air conditioner worked great, staff was friendly (even when we checked in at 3:30 am), beds were comfortable. Only negatives would be there is no ice machine,... More
