The rooms are small, have no outside locks on the door(!!), and some do not have a bathroom in the room, but the hot springs were quite nice. We hiked around the area, then returned for a hot bath. The kitchen was very well stocked with equipment, and was quite large, so no one felt crowded when several of us... More

A group of friends and I have been going to the hot springs for 3 years now, and our annual trip is always a lovely time. I like that you can get some great exercise hiking, then come back and loosen up sore muscles soaking in the hot springs. The kitchen is great, and we have a fantastic time cooking... More

I wish I wasn't writing this review because I like my hot springs with less people, and the less who know can't go :) With that being said, I love everything about this place. The people are kind and amazing, the lodging is perfect for me, the kitchen is awesome and of course there is the water. I gone with... More

My Husband & I went here when we were 7 Months Pregnant during 4th of July Week. We went to Alpine & Marfa area & a Local told us about Chinati Hot Springs. We went planning to spend 2 nights and stayed for 7 nights. From the Hot Springs to the Pool on top of the Hill. We had The... More

Wow, what a treat to find this place. Two days of camping in Big Bend National Park found me and my buddy cold, tired, and in need of something other than rough gravel and nylon to sleep on. After a brilliant suggestion from a passing hiker, a few hours in the car found us absolutely in the middle of nowhere,... More

Not only is the place in a beautiful setting, but the bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Be sure you bring food to eat/cook. It has a great kitchen. I didn't spend enough time here. It is made for full relaxation. Bring a book, or just pick a place to rest your bones. The pool at the top has... More

This was one of the best trips I have ever been on! Went down there for a friends anniversary so it was private and it was amazing! it was great having it to our selves. You can hike just by walking out your door. You can lay by the pool all day. We sure did! The hot tub is amazing!... More

This is a very special spot. But it's 2 hours from anywhere, and if you choose to drive down Rt 2810 (Pinto Canyon Rd) from Marfa, it's unpaved for most of the way and you should have a high-clearance vehicle. But you will be rewarded with some of the most spectacular scenery ever. It's all about slowing down and taking... More

About the three 1 star reviews here: 2 of them are from the days before the current managers. Presently the place is always being improved and maintained and the managers are courteous and nice. The third 1 star review is from a person who did not bother to call and see if a room was available! Last year we spent... More

I took my son there last august and had a good time. Took my girlfriend last week and after driving 500+ miles they were closed for a private party! Owner said"I tell people tp call first". Of course that's after you get there. They have a web site but cannot access it to give current info. This makes for a... More

l. We are not the new owners. Same owner, new managers. I am sorry that you drove 500 miles without calling first. If you would have called you would have known the place was closed for a private party for over a year now. We are in the process of a new website, but the old website also says, "please... More
