In June me and my son stayed for a week in this beautiful hotel. The owners are very friendly and helpful people who are doing their bests to make your visit as comfortable as possible. The house, hotelroom, swimmingpool and garden are excellent. We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast and were very satisfied. The hotel is beautifully situated in a... More

We stayed for three nights in July 2011 as a family of four. We had two double rooms with a joining small living room, all of which were clean. Unfortunately particularly the living room smelt rather musty, not easy to avoid in winter in this climate where buildings tend not to have central heating, but still a little offputting. Bathrooms... More

Thank you for your comment. We agree there is always something to improve, we’re conscious. I ‘d like to say that down fitted sheet covering the mattresses are not plastic and must to be used for hygienic reasons. Nevertheless, we deeply regret you not mentioned this detail during you stay because we are pleased to attend any claim or doubt... More

I booked this because of Tripadvisor reviews but would choose the Parador (although 40euros a night dearer) or NH if I were to return. Trujillo and surrounding areas are lovely and we visited Merida, Guadeloupe and the national park from here. Our room (the most expensive at 90 euros) was pleasant, but very dark, with a magnificent view and, like... More

We had previously stayed at the nearby Finca Santa Marta but recent ambivalent reviews of it made us try somewhere else this time . Vina Las Torres is a large private house hotel with delightful gardens and courtyard, set in a charming rural location which as birdwatchers was ideal for us. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The rooms... More

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Vina Las Torres. We also really liked the city of Trujillo and the Extremadura region, which were beautiful, rustic, and not over run by tourists. There was a relaxed feel at the hotel as well as the general area. The positive aspects of the hotel greatly outweighed any negatives. Pros: quiet,... More

Thank you for your comment. Always something to improve, we’re on it. Coffee we serve is not instant, we make it following ‘French press’ method, ‘cafetiere’ in UK. Sometimes we make it less strong…. Thanks again. More

This was our second stay at this hotel where the owners are the staff and treat you as one of the family whilst respecting your privacy. As a retired couple we travel widely making as many as 6 tripa abroad each year. The hotel is situated in a very quiet location in the countryside just 10 minutes south of the... More

Juan Pedro and Belen made us so very welcome in their lovely family home a few miles from Trujillo. The room was spacious with a good size en suite bathroom. They have a beautiful garden filled with fruit trees and flowering bushes and a swimming pool. A very relaxing place to be and very good value. Juan Pedro and Belen... More

A great wildlife retreat with good surrounding countryside for getting to grips with the real Spain.Juan Pedro speaks excellent English and Belen's food is second to none in the 'Home made local fayre' category. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The owners did everything possible to help us . They have 3 species of orchid in their grounds and many... More

A small hotel in a beautiful location run by a such a lovely Spanish couple. The food was typically Spanish - full of flavour and very enjoyable. Belen & Juan Pedro made us feel part of the family. We are birdwatchers and their knowledge on this as well as local matters made our stay so pleasurable. Norman & Chris [--] More

Stayed here both on the way to and the way back from the London Casalanca rally. just as wonderful as the previous four visits. Juan Pedro and Belen couldn't be more friendly and helpful, and how special to be treated to recitals by their children Marina and Alejandro. The dinners were excellent, using local produce and with well chosen wine.... More
