After coming off of less-than-wonderful stays in London and Paris at accommodations that were not quite as advertised, we were more than ready for a few days of relaxation at this B&B, but a little wary. We need not have been. La Millasserie is exactly as tranquil and beautiful in reality as it is on its website. Our room was... More

I just returned home from a two week vacation in France. I love Paris, but the best part of the trip was the four nights spent at La Millasserie and visiting the surrounding region. Our hosts, Alain and Byrne, were the perfect hosts. Their suggestions for dining (the food at all the restaurants was superb) and sights to visit were... More

My wife and I stayed at La Millasserie for three nights at the end of August while attending a family wedding nearby. It was a great stay. A few highlights: The rooms are large and very well furnished. Alain, one of the proprietors, is a former antique dealer and the rooms contain lovely antiques. The bed was a good size... More

We had the good fortune to spend four nights in this excellent B&B which is situated approximately fifty miles east of Bordeaux. My wife and I plus our daughter, son-in-law and baby grandson had been invited to a wedding locally and we were delighted that the Millasserie was the B&B we chose from the list of possibles. There are four... More

This is a great place for anyone looking for privacy and calm. The very spacious and comfortable rooms each have their own private terrace overlooking the woods. The huge bed is very comfortable and the room is tastefully decorated and furnished. The bathroom is large and equipped with a great walk in shower. Alain and Byrne are excellent hosts and... More

Byrne and Alain made us most welcome and as mentioned by other vistors reserved a "table" for the evening of our arrival. We were more than happy for them to repeat the procedure on subsequent nights... Each time detailed written dierections were provided and the food at each place was of high quality. The weather was very hot and the... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property with its lovely garden and pool. The large room, one of four, was more like a small cottage that has been built thoughtfully replicating the original style of the manor, providing interestingly decorated accommodation with its own terrace overlooking the surrounding forest. Being self-contained and quite private, you can come and... More

My wife and I stayed with Byrne and Alain in April. Simply put, they could not have been more kind and gracious. I'll always remember the afternoon of our arrival, sitting with them on their outdoor patio, drinking coffee and enjoying some treats prepared by Alain. As former interior designers, they have done a fabulous job with decorating the guest... More

This was our second trip to La Millasserie, we were there last summer. It was more like visiting old friends who know how to welcome guests than anything else. Everything was superb again and we had a very relaxing, a week-long, stay. We saw the places in the surrounding area we didn't get to see the last time and it... More
