This was our best stay in Scotland. Neil is the perfect gentleman he makes you feel at home. Aperitief in the lounge at the open fire and than a real good dinner in the restaurant. Go for the cheese after. Real neigtbour producers cheeses. Neil proposed a 1963 Porto it was a delight. The rooms are magnifique the bed was... More

We arrived a day early having messed up the dates (our fault entirely) but nothing flustered our lovely hosts. They fitted us into a beautiful room overlooking the loch and rustled us up a delicious dinner. Neil was a charming and attentive host and couldn't have been nicer when we turned up unannounced. The hotel is in a truly beautiful... More

I stayed with my family (hubby, 18 month son and my folks) at Greshornish House for 3 nights and we had a wonderful time. Neil and Rosemary are very welcoming and have outstanding local knowledge of the area. The rooms were really comfortable, clean, with a good tea and coffee service. Lots of hot water for relaxing baths/shower. We had... More

Greshornish is a wonderful hotel in a stunning remote location. It's a traditional place, very homely and cosy with exceptional service. If you're after a modern, ubiquitous experience, try somewhere else but if you're after a unique, comfortable and stress-free getaway, Greshornish House Hotel is for you!

A quaint hotel set on lovely grounds, well suited to those who want to experience gracious and elegant surroundings. Spacious and traditionally furnished rooms. A pleasant four course dinner, refreshingly different from the traditional scottish meals, perhaps a little overpriced in value for money at £38.00 a head. This is a residence and one does get a sense that this... More

For several years we have made our way to Edinbane on Skye and to the Greshornish House Hotel. It keeps calling us back to the feel of a quiet retreat that is well furnished with good antiques. It is easy to feel at home with the grounds to roam about and the owners being very helpful in every way. As... More

We are a french couple leaving in London. We went to Scotland for few weeks and under a good recommendation we find this amazing place. We stayed there for a couple of days and we had an amazing time at the Greshornish House. It is such a beautiful place with some kind of magic, surrounding by relaxing and peaceful landscapes.... The house if beautiful with an amazing view and the food and service was wonderful but be warned one of the waiters is straight out of Faulty Towers, but that only adds to the charm. Choose your room wisely, we had the Rum room which was beautiful and had a shower and bath, but some of the rooms were tiny... More

This is the worst country house I have visited in Scotland. There is nothing elegant about it. It looks like the place was decorated in the 1970's and never updated. The furniture in our room looked as if it was purchased at a car boot sale. To make it worse, the food was terrible and the portions were SKIMPY! This... More

Wonderful service, good breakfasts and dinners, and treated like special guests from the beginning to the end. The hosts add charm. Enjoyed playing on their two pianos. History abounds in the estate. Samuel Johnson stayed here. The room was very comfortable and private. I recommend the room Canna for quiet and privacy. I enjoyed dinners for each of the 3... More
