Sallie and Bruce makes you feel at home. Great time in the small town. I heard that the train but it was okay, breakfast was great and number one love the bake eggs, peppered bacon, grill toast everything was great. I would recomend this B&B tto my friend if coming to your area.

Had a great one-night stay with my girlfriend. Really enjoyed it. Great hospitality and accommodations. Enjoyed Smithville and hiking in the state park. I did hear the train at night but it was not a big deal. I recommend this spot. Good price/value. Easy to get to. Fun get-away.

High points: Microfiber sheets on the bed are GREAT. I need some of these. Breakfast is very good, not great, albeit offered quite late at 9 a.m. with no other options.
