A good example of a fine chain of Hotels. The hotel is only walking distance from a number of good restaurands. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, quiet and well appointed. We have stayed at this hotel the last 5 times we have visited Houston. Always good staff, clean rooms, good breakfast. Convenient to good restaraunts and activities. Shopping is right down the street.

on our way to Galveston for cruise and wanted to be fairly close. Comfortable place with breakfast and easy on/off. Would recommend it for others doing the same. If you are a Hampton person, this would meet your expectation.

Not so great. Don't count on wanting to eat the breakfast more than once and the fitness center is a joke. The rooms were fine and the staff great, but the two reasons I stayed were the free breakfast and a place to work out and both were terrible.

Centralized Direct TV system always on fritz; one phone and two jacks didn't work; no place for luggage in room (staff couldn't/wouldn't provide metal folding stand either) - otherwise good Hampton bed as expected and tons of restaurants within walking.

I enjoyed the hotel immensely. The continental breakfast was very nice. The rooms and beds were very comfortable. The general manager was friendly, the staff professional and the cleaning staff "awesome". Tuesday and Wednesday social hour was a very nice treat with food and drinks. Great job!!
