“Just don't go there”

We just got back from Lonesome Dove. What a dissapointment. This was suppose to be our 50 Anniversary celebration. Very poor management, the outside very dirty, built up leaves, what was suppose to be a fence on the front - falling down. The linens were disgusting, absolutely NO control with the hot water in the showers, the handles fall off... More

A group of 4 "60ish" couples spent Easter weekend at this property. We travel as a group several times a year and it is often difficult to find a 4Br-4B property. This one was perfect. We apologize for the pilot light blowing out. Sometimes these things just happen, We certainly did not do this on purpose. Cliffside Cottage is no longer available for rent as our Onsite Facilities Manager resides there now and has had no complaints. More

We had a family gathering at the Lonesome Dove property. There was plenty of comfortable space for everyone but this property suffers from poor management. The house has been neglected for some time. We are sorry to hear that your stay was not enjoyable. We are under new management as of December 1, 2009, and we now have an Onsite Facilities Manager whose goal will be to provide our guests with a relaxing and enjoyable stay so they will want to come back again. More
