WE were supposed to spend a night in Moab but it was overtaken by ATV riders as far as hotel rooms Owner of one of the hotels in Moab suggested that Monticello might have rooms availlable It was quite a ride from Moab to Monticello, late night and tired When we got there ,we met very sweet person she took... By now we are into "Arrive late, leave early mode" as we zig zag across the States. We are looking for location; clean; comfortable; quiet (no drunken parties or screaming kids around the pool) and fits inside our budget. Always ask 2 questions with regards to wifi and laundry facilities. The Monticello ticked all those boxes and what we were... More

Having driven from Page throught the awesome Monument Valley, and dawdled for endless photo opportunities we opted to break the journey at Monticello (UT). The owner was extrememly kind and friendly and suggested somewhere to eat and other places to visit. We actually had no problems with the wifi and were able to update family on our progress. The room... More

Got the last room on a late night check in. The room was very clean, spacious and a great bargain. We stayed in a larger room for only $70.00. There was a small fridge in the room. The lady at the front desk was courteous and extremely helpful. She even offered us some popcorn to help tide our hunger over... More

For my wife, it has to be clean, or I'm in trouble. This was a bargain at $50 a night and much cheaper than Moab. It is an older motel with no breakfast. A good price and well situated to visit multiple national parks. Family owned business. More

Nice motel located very near to CanyonLand National park. The rates are very good (room starting at $50), and the rooms are clean and comfortable (even if the motel is quite not recent). Do not expect something fancy, but the rooms are well maintained. They have from single or double rooms and a few new renovated double ones. The "old"... More

This is probably the toughest hotel to rate of my entire trip (of 5 weeks) so far. I give it 4 stars based on the hotel itself but know that there are some things that might make your stay less pleasant that are not necessarily anything at fault with the hotel. Pluses: The owners/family-- Fantastic people. Super accommodating and friendly.... More

We are so glad you decided to stay here! We are an older motel and there are some ups and downs that come with that. We are also in a very rural area being close to the national parks such as canyonlands and monument valley, to be honest we are very lucky to have cell phone service at all or... More

We (a family of 5) stayed here because of TripAdvisor reviews and we were not disappointed. We read the poor/terrible reports. Yes the room we had was dated and there was no breakfast. HOWEVER.... it was very clean, the room had a fridge, microwave, and a coffee maker, a good shower, the staff we very helpful and great location to... More

We love having families here! We are a family owned and run motel and we work very hard to try to make other family stays here wonderful! We are an older motel, but we have been updating everything from the tvs to the carpeting to the showers. We only have a small window between the busy season and winter, so... More
