They're technically cabins, yes, but they have all the amenities - air conditioning, private bathroom, comfortable beds, fridge, and the all-important coffee maker. They even have Wi-Fi! The owners are super friendly and very helpful, and even the free breakfast is a little cut above the usual. Great place to stay when you're visiting Bryce. Highly recommended!

Nice place to stay, clean and very nice people run the place. Decent continental breakfast. Tropic is a very small town, 10 miles from Bryce and has 2 restaurants only. Even so I think its a good place to stay if you are visiting Bryce Canyon.

These cabins are fairly new, and quite charming. There was plenty of space in our room, and everything was nice and clean. Clean, cozy, well-appointed, free-standing cabins. Nice and quiet, but still near food and some other hotels, so not too remote. A little bit of a drive (10 miles, not that big a deal) compared to some other places, but a great place to stay.

The town of Tropic is only about 10 minutes drive from the Bryce Canyon basecamp(i.e. Ruby's Inn) but for us it was a nicer place to stay as it was not nearly as busy and was not overrun with tour buses moving in and out like Ruby's Inn. We enjoyed staying at these new cabins. Beds comfortable, plenty of room, quiet, within walking distance of a good restuarant, and just a short trip (about a 15 minute drive) to the parking lot for the canyon tour buses.
