We have stayed here multiple times while visiting family, from before we had kids to now with out 2 boys (aged 4 and 7). The boys love coming to "Chef Doug's". Doug's approach to cooking and the slow food movement are appealing both to my kids (who LOVED chasing Doug's chickens around - with Doug's permission) and to me -... More

We've stayed here several times before. Linda and Doug are wonderful hosts; we always look forward to staying here and did so again recently. Our room was lovely. However, the dinner menu included several items with unusual seasonings, some of which did not sound appealing, as if the chef were experimenting, and the waitress we had was not really helpful... The good/great first, and that would definitely be the food and wonderful choices on the menu. Property, however, is not in great repair, and rooms could be better. My room, at top of the stairs, was noisy, bed was saggy. The room (Martha's), is under the eaves and so has a sloping roof and very low ceiling. My advice is... More

My fiance and I attended a wedding here over the weekend. The food was incredible and we absolutely loved the barn for the wedding venue; simply beautiful. We had a fantastic time. My only complaint is that our room wasn't very clean; there were stains on the comforter and bath towels. I think it's better known for it's food and... More

Only was there for about 12 hours but very classically cute, comfortable B&B. Did not try the restaurant but would have if I would have been there in time for dinner. My room was great..gas lit fire. Doubt they have many options by the TV channels they get was about 4 1/2. Overall, would definitely stay there again. Sugarbush was... More

We went back again to this great little B&B noted for it's fine food. This time we attended the cooking school taking time from our busy hiking schedule. The breakfast and dinners here are outstanding as they grow lots of their food. The chickens (the girls) contribute their daily share for breakfast. I made the best curried pumpkin soup I... More

Linda and Doug (the proprietors) are simply the nicest, most helpful and cheeriest people you'd want to meet in life or, especially, owning an inn. My wife and I have stayed at the inn several times and if something's even a little wrong (which isn't often), they go overboard to fix it. It's just a wonderfully relaxing spot--an old rambling... We were in Vermont for college tours in Burlington. Bristol is a quick 25 minute drive and this B&B was worth every mile! We were lucky to get the large Treetop Suite. It's the furthest down the hall and quiet. We enjoyed the split level - cozy sitting room up and bedroom and bathroom down a few steps. Very clean,... More

When we travel, my wife and I prefer staying at B&Bs to hotels/motels to avail ourselves of local knowledge, a good night's sleep and occasionally, a great breakfast. At the Inn at Baldwin Creek you get all this and more. We arrived with snow falling and the lights of the Inn glowing. You are as likely to meet with Doug,... More

After spending a long weekend at the inn I felt like one of the family. From my first contact to the moment I left, I felt well taken care of. The inn is an older home, just like grandma's house was, with that warm clean feeling, even though there was three foot of snow outside. The food is fantastic and... More
