I stayed here while attending a friend's wedding in town, Unfortunately, my wife couldn't join me because of a travel delay, but I enjoyed the room and the town enough that I'm determined to take her back there sometime soon. The room was really open and comfortable, complete with a mini kitchen and fresh coffee. It was also just a... More

What an incredible surprise when we opened up the door to this converted garage! The great room included a fully equipped kitchenette, comfortable living room with television and beautiful bedroom with a queen-sized bed. The bathroom was spotlessly clean and included a shower. Andrea, the delightful hostess, was there to greet us and explained the features of the room. She... More

This is one of my favorite places *ever* to stay. Spacious, comfortable, cheerful, attractive, good location. Loved having the kitchenette, which was stocked with cereal, milk and juice. It was nice to be in a residential neighborhood, yet a short walk to the lake. We enjoyed talking to the Andrea, our host, a lot (and we are not normally very... More

We stayed in the downstairs room of the Howard St Guesthouse the last weekend of July 2011. The colors in the room, described by the owner as funky, were just beautiful! From the painted birds on top of the closet to all the bright colors, it was welcoming and warm. Also, this studio is spotlessly clean. The shower has plenty... More

The Howard street guest house is a great place to stay in Burlington. It is in a quiet residential area, but within easy walking distance of the centre. The room is beautifully decorated. Highly recommended More

We have stayed here twice now. The first time on the lower level and we loved it so much we just had to go back again to try the upper level. Both times were perfect. As soon as you walk in the door you feel immediately comfortable and at home. The location to downtown is easily walkable. The rooms are... More

We were very fortunate to find this and squeeze in for a 1 night stay while visiting Burlington. Very nice and friendly host and the large suite was ideal for us. Quiet residential location. Beautifully clean, bright and refreshing decor and furnishings with a very useful kitchenette so we could prepare ourselves a light dinner and breakfast. The suite has... More

I stayed at the Howard Street guest house on the upper level. It is complete with a full kitchen and dishware-there are some breakfast items and you can bring in any groceries. It had a beautiful cathedral ceiling/skylights and the archictecture was splendid, much nicer than a standard hotel room. That it is in an actual neighborhood adds to its... More

The owner was kind enough to book us over the phone while she was grocery shopping, so she is very accommodating. We stayed in the downstairs room, a spacious, cute area with lots of light and very clean. The downstairs room does contain the water heater for the upstairs room, but the noise is minimal and we had no trouble... More
