What I love about this inn: The price ($65 per night), the location (Middle of the main road between the city and Shelburne Farm/Teddy Bear Factory), every room has a fridge and a microwave. If you're on a budget - this is THE place for you in Burlington. The owner Kalsang is a very nice honest businessman. While drinking tea... more

This hotel was obviously converted from a more generic strip motel into a small inn run by a Tibetan businessman who has been responsible for bringing many Tibetans to Vermont and who has even hosted the Dalai Lama. The lobby has lots of interesting articles on the walls. The rooms were comfortable and clean, although a little generic, and quiet... more

we discovered the Tibet Inn a number of years ago,and have been back every Year 2-3 times. As senior citizens, slightly spoiled, ex Europaeens, and on a fixed budget, we find the Tibet Inn gives us good value. It is also clean, and the owner and his family are always friendly, receiving us with a warm welcome. So we don't mind a... more

This hotel is great! It is very affordable- and you get your money's worth. It is located in a very convenient location, 3 miles from downtown Burlington and there are other attractions near by. The rooms are clean, AC works great, there is a mini-fridge in the room. The towels are white, clean and fresh. Windows open- fresh, air breeze.... more

We awoke at 3:00 a.m. to find bugs crawling on the bed. When we hit them, blood stained the sheets. Couldn't sleep the rest of the night, and checked out first thing in the morning. Although I had paid for 2 nights, I requested a refund for the 2nd night; Took photos of the bugs to later identify them....they are... more

The room is decent for the price and generally clean but please beware of the ownership. We found them agressive & insulting at times and rude and watch out for the dishonesty with pricing and deposit money. The owner kept money from us unfairly (huge ordeal where we had to make official police complaint). I would not refer anyone there... more

I don't get it. The owner is nothing but hospitable. This is not the Hilton or Sheraton but everyone and anyone should be able to figure this out. I actually work for one of Burlington's top notch hotels and I can not say enough about what they are doing here in our area. The prices are absolutely dirt CHEAP. I... more

One of the best prices for a few nites stay was in every aspect pleasing, astheically the subtle decor reminds one that their culture can shine thousands of miles away. The location is perfect and the view of the New York Adriondack mountains is phonemonal. The staff was more than kind in a world where business men and women rarely... more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! We checked in, got the key and headed to the room only to find someone elses luggage on the floor and money on the night stand. We returned to the "receptionist" and requested a new room. The young guy working the desk phoned the owner, the only room avaiable was a smoking room - totally... more

Have stayed two times, both times made to feel unwelcome. The rooms are a very good value for the money, but the mangement / ownership is abyssmal..rude, insulting, suspicious, and downright hostile. They copied my license " for the police"( I guess in case I'm wanted! ), made insulting comments about me personally ( the woman at the desk referred to me... more
