First experience no hot water in the shower and they refused to believe us. Then finally fixed it but nothing in return. Second visit the rental cottage was marginal. They don't reflect the real image of Smugglers Notch which is a great mountain. More

While exploring the area, we drove past Smugglers Notch Inn and decided it would be the perfect place to spend the night so we could ski the following day. Fortunately for us, the Inn had a room available. We were pleasantly surprised with everything they had to offer; it was just what we would want for a small town New... More

We spent a weekend in this place, on February 2012 (3 adults and a baby). The location is fantastic for skiing and outdoor activities, and the place is a great base for this. The rooms are comfortable, and we spent a lot of time in the cozy living room near the fireplace, as well as the outdoor hut tub -... More

This was a nice vacation place much better suited to a family vacation then for young adults hoping to ski/board all day and party every night. The resort is nice but is showing some aging and the resort is in need of some updating. More

Great place but the music from the bar after hours till 4 AM is not cool. Topic of discussion from all guests on the morning after. Rating would be higher but for this. More

Our stay at Smugglers Notch Inn was a pleasant, charming, warm, comfortable and relaxing jewel in the beautiful mountains of Vermont. As lifelong downhill and cross country skiers we have traveled the northeast skiing and sleeping in a variety of winter accommodations. This Inn was by far one of our favorites. The 1790 house was decorated with impeccable historical taste,... More

My parents and I enjoyed a warm and personal stay at this Inn over Thanksgiving. We had warm and wonderful rooms, a welcoming and open inn, drinks and games in the tavern, and a tasty meal in the restaurant. Highly recommended. More

We spent a long summer working and remodeling and wanted to get away to a low key place where we wouldn't have to dress or pay through the nose to relax.......this hotel fit the bill perfectly. Kathy, the on-site manager was very accommodating and available. The outdoor jacuzzi was perfect. Our room had seen better days but overall, the atmosphere... More

We spent a night here on our way to Canada, and had a great stay in our charming, well decorated room - with jacuzzi tub! We enjoyed eating in the pub downstairs, and getting breakfast nearby the next morning. This inn totally exceeded my expectations. It's charming, comfortable and unique. More

I hadn't done much research on Smugglers' Notch Inn before our visit. It was merely located in an area we wanted to visit. We had planned to stay only one night, but after settling into our room, we decided to make it two nights. It is a beautifully decorated and well-maintained old inn. I fell in love with it as...
