Ate at this Italian restaurant mid-week during school vacation week. Food was good and service was excellent.my son had chicken parmigiana which was excellent. I had veal saltimbocca which was filling but not very flavorful, I have had better. Breadsticks are great. Overall a 3.5.

There is a fine line between "quaint" and "run down", but the Foxfire crosses that line. My wife and I are certainly NOT expecting the height of luxury. But when we pulled into the parking lot, we thought we were in the wrong place - from the outside, the building looked like it had been abandoned for a couple years.... More

If you are a romantic who loves a friendly, charming place to stay, the Fire Fox Inn is for you. My wife and I stayed only one night. We wish we could have stayed longer. Bob, the innkeeper is a friendly man. The Inn was built in the 1800s, and is not going to have the amenities of a modern... More

We were welcomed by Bob who ran both the restaurant and B&B. The rooms are situated above the busy restaurant which was slightly worrying as none of the rooms had locks or a safe. The room itself was spacious and comfortable although as it was an old building the floorboards were very creaky. Breakfast was excellent as were the dinners... More

We stayed one night in the Inn. It's more a restaurant then an INN. The restaurant is located in the ground floor, and on the second floor are the rooms (4 or 5). The room we received was quit big, but we had problem sleeping because of the massive garlic smell we got from the restaurant. We open the air-condition... More

Fortunately only a one night stay. Friendly welcome by the Inn Keeper who showed us to a small but clean room where every single piece of wallpaper was peeling off the walls. Fixtures and fittings were showing their age too. No key lock on door and no room safe. No TV but a TV in guests lounge. No coffe machine... More

We arrived on a Sunday evening and were given the choice of one of two rooms that met our needs. We chose the larger room and it worked out great. We were the only people staying that night, so we also had the sitting room upstairs to ourselves. It was all so nice and the breakfast was huge!

We stayed two nights in July. Our first problem is that all the doors were locked. The property has both a restaurant and a B&B, and the restaurant is closed on Monday. But all the doors were locked. We had a moment of panic until one of the owners showed up, walking his dogs. Our room, room A, is closest... More

My boyfriend and I were planning a trip to Stowe. With many Inn`s to choose from we chose this one! We certainly hit the nail on the head! It was really easy to find when travelling in. We were greeted by Bob the Innkeeper who was very polite and friendly. We never met his wife however we soon found out... More

My family and I booked a single room here at the last minute during the holidays- between Christmas and New Years, and could not have been happier. Bob Neilson the innkeeper and restaurant proprietor, Doug the restaurant manager, Laurie the bartender were all wonderfully accommodating. When we arrived there was a last minute cancellation and rather than have an empty... More
