Amazing is the only word for this place and it's owner, Mitch. My husband and I have two 50-pound mix dogs and we also board, so when we decided to try to take a weekend getaway with four dogs totaling 200 pounds, we were sure we'd be out of luck. Then I called Mitch and was met with nothing but... More

We (John & Marlene S.) just returned from a three night vacation with our beloved dog Shylo. The innkeeper (Mitch) and his wife (Jenn) made our trip very special. We were treated like old friends even though we had never met. Breakfast was spectacular, rooms were extremely comfortable , clean and roomy. Shylo had the time of her life ,... More

I stayed here from Sep 8 to 10 shortly after Hurricane Irene affected the area. Originally I was planning to drive through Connecticut from New York City. But as VT 100 was partly closed, I decided to use I-87 instead. All fears of washed-out roads were washed away when I drove through the roads in NY and VT. I did... More

Just got back from my seventh trip to the Paw House Inn. Once again, Mitch and Jenn were wonderful. They are always so friendly and helpful. By far, they are the most welcoming inn owners in New England. This time I brought my boston terrier and very high strung yellow lab. I knew it was a mistake from the moment... More

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay and would definitely come back again for a longer stay . The Inn is clean, spacious and quiet. Breakfast was yummy. The owners are inviting and great to talk with. Take some time to speak to them about the history of the place. Mitch can give you lots advice on great hiking trails... More

We recently returned to the Pawhouse Inn for our second visit and we loved it. Just as we discovered on our first visit, the dogs enjoyed the same hospitality we did. The dog run is beautiful and the kennels are spotless. Our three course breakfast was truly the best we've ever had at a B & B and the coffee... More

I loved the pet friendly atmosphere at this B and B. Everyone including the dogs seemed very relaxed and layed back. The inn is extremely clean and comfy. Mitch, Jen, and Stanley(the house dog) are great hosts. The breakfasts were delicious. We will return this winter for a little pet friendly ski trip. More

Had a wonderful weekend at the Paw House Inn. We brought our 6 month old puppy and she was welcomed immediately. We found our room which had a great doggy bed for our pup! We stayed in Shakespeare's Retreat which had more than enough space for 2 people plus active puppy. The play yard was more than we could have... More

Strongly recommend the Paw House Inn as the perfect dog and human vacation experience. The rooms are super clean, comfortable, spacious, and the beds are very comfortable. You will love eating scrumptious breakfast on the porch with your dog by your side enjoying the gardens and beautiful Vermont scenery. Your dog will love the playground or just enjoy running or... We just returned from 3 nights here and loved everything about it. Owners Mitch & Jen are so warm and accommodating, the entire place is very clean, the beds are luxurious with hi-thread count ironed sheets and the breakfasts were yummy. It was wonderful to be able to do so many activities with our dog and also know that he... More
