The house was wonderfully decorated and appointed. The hosts were very accommodating and attentive. The location was great - easily within walking distance of the downtown mall and a lot of other restaurants and stores and not far from the University.

Perfectly located for walking distance to activities in town, this B&B was a wonderful place to spend the weekend. The atmosphere for an early autumn visit to Virginia was awesome, from the fire outside on the patio and the evening soccer in the yard with the kids to the lunch in one of the casual dining rooms... the B&B has... We rented out the entire B&B for the weekend of our Labor day wedding so our families could relax together in one spot. Susan was very helpful with preparations and especially in accommodating a gaggle of toddlers (we have a lot of nieces and nephews). We were even able to hold our wedding rehearsal dinner in the den area. Everyone... More

My wife and I stayed here for two nights in October. It is centrally located near the train station and local mall where there are heaps of restaurants. The house is stunning to look at from the outside and our room including bathroom had some real nice touches. The owners were great with nothing being too much trouble. Would stay... More

We stayed at the Leathers-Snyders B & B for two nights with our two children, who are 4 and 2. Susan and Jeff were extremely hospitable, not only to us but to our children. Jeff played with our son outside in the yard even though it was easily 104 degrees during our stay. The B & B was beautiful, quiet,... More

My wife and I spent a very pleasant night in Charlottesville at the Leathers-Snyder B&B. The owners recommended a terrific tapas restaurant that was every bit as good as they suggested. We needed to start early the next day on our travels, so that owners arranged for an early breakfast to help us on our way. The bedroom was charming,... More

We were traveling by train through Charlottesville and wanted a B&B close to the station. The Leathers-Snyder B&B was about 1/2 mile (an easy flat walk) away. Susan was extremely flexible about us leaving luggage at the house when we arrived early in the morning and when we had a mid-afternoon departure. She allowed us to rest in the parlor... More

Randomly I scoured areas I would like to visit approximately 5 hours from my Pittsburgh, PA home. I desperately needed some R&R and wanted an environment that would give me opportunity to shop, browse, and be entertained, while also providing rest and solice. This was a 5-10 minute walk to Main St shops & restaurants and 10-15 to the Outdoor... More

The Leathers-Snyder Inn is located within a 10-minute walk of the Main Street Mall and a 20 minute walk of the University of Virginia. It's a 15-minute drive to Monticello. So, the inn is very convenient to the three top attractions in Charlottesville. The inn is a tastefully refurbished Victorian, which is also the home of the hosts, Jeff and... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our last-minute getaway to Charlottesville at this B&B. The location was 5 minutes from the pedestrian mall, the room was very cute, and the breakfast was amazing. Susan and Jeff are great hosts. Although the website doesn't allow for immediate bookings, it is worth the extra step of sending an email or calling to reserve a room... More
