Had a great weekend at the Island Manor House, stayed in the Misty Mare room. Beautiful grounds, flowers and clearly the best kept B & B on the island. Enjoyed the refreshment room with fresh baked cookies and chilled beverages. The complimentary bikes were a plus and we used them to tour the island. Quiet courtyard to relax was great,... More

Stayed for the weekend in Joseph Kenny room. The room, house, grounds, breakfast, afternoon tea, chocolate covered strawberries, Ben (Inn Keeper) and other guests where wonderful. It was my first experience with a B&B and I have to say I will be returning. They even provided bikes for us to ride around during our stay!!!

Simply the best Island accommodation. People are friendly helpful and knowledgeable of all things local. The house is beautiful and the court yard offers the relaxing evening deserved after a day of fun in the sun. Bikes available for the ride around the town to visit all the little shops. Would recommend to all....

We stay in B & Bs quite often and this is one of the most put together, they-thought-of-everything type inn. Striving to be green, they have a whole pantry for guests to nibble on sweets or fruit, pour a cup of coffee or tea in real mugs, or leave food in the fridge. Ben greeted us at the door, was... More

First, this was my first experience at a B&B and it was fantastic. Our getaway weekend was such a great experience. The 1848 Island Manor House was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic! Thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality and warmth of the home. We felt like we were visting good friends through the hospitality of Ben and Lynn who really... More

My husband and I stayed here last summer. It was our first time at a B and B and we absolutely loved it. I would definitely recommend this bed and breakfast. The owner was super friendly and helpful. We were the only couple staying there that weekend and we pretty much had the place to ourselves. Since there isn't much... More

I loved staying here for my second time. There is always great service, clean rooms, and awsome cookies, popcorn, fruit, and beverages. Ben was great at helping us out with all our reservations, and making us feel so welcomed. Lynn cooked one amazing breakfast. I hope to return soon, and I would request the sandpiper room because it was great!... More

Nice enough, if a liitle too fussy in the decor and a little run down. Staff were a bit shellshocked from the recent onslaught of hurricane Sandy but did a great job answering our questions and anticipating our needs. Room we had was very small but perfectly OK. Breakfast was attractive but only of average quality.

We stayed at the Island Manor House for two nights. Our stay was during off season, so the town was slow. Most of the stores were closed mid week, but we did enjoy the relaxing break. The property is well maintained and the breakfast was wonderful. Everything was fresh and enjoyable, especially the baked apples with raisins and walnuts. Our... More

Great location, breakfast was very good, with Ben doing everything he could to make you feel right at home. There were bikes for your use to venture out and explore. Thank you and hope to see you again soon.
