The room was fine (once a/c removed rest of stench from hallway). Really, the room was fine; the people were nice; the bed was comfortable. But the odor that was unpleasant in the long hallway from my room became more sickening each time. It will keep me away.

The location of this Super 8 keeps the price down (just off I81 about 8 miles north of Roanoke) and makes it excellent value. The rooms have a nicely remodeled and clean look. Very spacious. The staff was friendly and prompt. The breakfast was lacking. Our large group found it to be insufficient and had to seek restaurants for breakfast. No eggs, breakfast meat, or hot food besides toast were available.
