Better price than other quality hotels nearby, very clean and nice, room was large and clean, they called after I arrived to make certain the room was what I expected. Make certain to get a room on the side toward the front entrance, as the back is against a truck stop. Very quiet room, even though a university is nearby.

Here in Harrisonburg overnight and needed a good nights sleep. Beds were comfy and breakfast was good. Staff was friendly and check in was quick. All though its next to I-81, in a very convenient location, we never heard any traffic. Overall a good experience.

I like the consistency of HIE hotels and have stayed at this location multiple times during business in Elkton, VA. The staff are always super nice. The rooms and bathrooms are always clean. As a bonus, there is a Cracker Barrel across the street.

We enjoyed our weekend stay at the Harrisonburg Holiday Inn Express. The heated pool was clean and never too crowded even with the many guests at the hotel for the long weekend - as evident by the sometimes empty towel cart at the pool.
