“Hampton Inn Lynchburg VA”

Traveling a a single female, my priorities are: safe hotel environment, cleanliness of the hotel lobby, grounds and the room. This hotel meet all of these. The staff was very helpful and was prompt in checkin and check out processes.

“Most enjoyable visit”

This motel is one of best overall that I have ever experienced. It is an older facility, but nicely kept and staff was most courteous, friendly and helpful. Great location, but look closely as it sits off the main road and only a small sign indicated motel location.

“Kind of expensive, No real amenities & a noisy A/C”

We were in town for graduation so all hotels raised their rates accordingly. That said, the rate was high for the few amenities offered, which would have been okay since we had little options. But what was most annoying was the A/C in the room which made so much noise we couldn't sleep.

“Good but a little disappointed”

I choose Hampton because of the beds and breakfast. But I was disappointed that this hotel did not have 2 queen size beds per room rather, 2 double beds. The breakfast is always good. The bedding was good. Just disappointed in size of beds. And most rooms are accessible by the parking lot, more motel than hotel.

“Nice Rooms - High Demand Weekend”

Decent hotel with simple but clean rooms. The weekend we stay rooms were in demand as three colleges in town were having graduation, therefore rates were about twice the normal rate. Continental breakfast was decent with a variety of food. We would consider staying again (on a less busy weekend).

The hotel room was clean and quiet. Its centrally located. It allows pets with a fee. The bed was only so-so. It was a bit pricey. Check-in and check-out were extremely efficient. The hotel had great water pressure and hot water supply.

“GOOD VISIT”

Have been in the area before this was the first time staying at this location. Would stay here again. Rooms were clean and beds were nice. Breakfast was satisfactory this particular weekend there were many groups staying so availability of items were limited came in right as a group was finishing up. All and All good stay.

“Great Service-Not so good decor or internet”

The Front Desk staff is outstanding, and the lobby looked great. But when you enter the room you realize the upgrade stopped there. The bed was very uncomfortable and the internet was sporadic. There are better options for a lower price in Lynchburg.

“Older Facility”

Rudest staff I have ever experienced at a Hilton branded hotel. When we reported a problem we were told that it was an older hotel and they were sorry. Coffee packet not left in room and when we asked for one at the front desk we were gaffed off and told they didn't have any. Our son is attending college... More
