Hi there! Many thanks for such an encouraging review and keeping us focussed on our job of providing a relaxed and safe experience in nature and the outdoors to our guests. We are fortunate that our sister company Himalayan River Runners is literally next door with their beach, guides and all the equipment and therefore its a "breeze" to organize... More

This was our third stay at HH and we asked the HH Team to suggest some overnight adventure/rafting options for our family of 4 (2 kids 9 & 12 year) plus a friend that we could do during our 5 days stay at HH. Thus on day three of our stay we were picked up at 8 am (after breakfast)... More

Many thanks for your encouraging comments. In fact you have further strengthened our resolve to pitch ourselves to families and friends' groups who want a "true" outdoors experience and NOT something simulated and artificial ;) Your review has also shown the contiguous way our sister company Himalayan River Runners works with Himalayan Hideaway. You were able to get the outdoors... More

Thank you so much for all your wonderful encouragement! The Hideaway does seem "hidden" away even though its in plain sight on the main road! :) This is mostly because of our mature garden, I think. For your information we are developing more nature trails around the Hideaway. Of course the beach camp is not far away from the Lodge.... More

This was the perfect place to stay in Rishikesh, the lodge's rustic charm fully in keeping with the natural environment. The rooms are large and clean, the food good and varied, and the manager and the wait staff went out of their way to accommodate the needs of our group of 8. The rafting trips they arranged for us were... More

This lovely leafy retreat sits on a hillside beyond Rishikesh and above the Ganga. It's the perfect place for stressed out city dwellers seeking peace, calm and fresh air! it would also make a good stop on a pan-Indian tour for foreign visitors. Great for families because you can use it as a base for other activities - treks, kayaking,... More

Many thanks for your supportive words. Do come again. Because of our local and indigenous garden, we remain quite green even at the height of summer in April and May and then the switch to the lush emerald green is spectacular when the rains come. Do come and enjoy all the different changes of season :) More

This was one of those sudden decisions - thought it through on Saturday, made bookings, and drove on Sunday. Check in, rhodendron juice for starters, and into one... More

The guest found the "boys" (staff) that work at the Himalayan Hideaway, "nice". The same "nice" staff are the ones who sleep in the staff quarters that are also offered to guests' drivers.
