An old-fashioned hotel. Classic style interior. Nice personnel. Clean rooms. Food ok. Smoke-filled bar. Not very common any more. If you are a smoker-this is the place for you! Nice view from balcony. Close to ski buses. A 15 minute walk in steep terrain to the ski lift system.

The Mozart is a classic style older hotel, our room was a bit jaded but the public areas and other parts of the hotel were well maintained. The hotel is located near the edge of town, but only a 5 minute or so walk to the centre. The ski bus stops right outside the door and only takes 5 minutes... More

The hotel is 100 years old. The hotel surely had some glorious past. Now it is still fine and looks a little nostalgic. Its location is right at the ski bus stops, which makes it very convenient. There are other hotels closer to the main lift, but they are further from the bus stops. The food is fine on some... More

The Mozart is a rather big a bit worn down rustic hotel. The rooms vary but are quite OK, clean and relatively spatious with balconies and inviting bathrooms. Hotel service is friendly but varying depending on the individual employees. Breakfast buffet was good but dinner nothing special and hardly OK. There is a charge for WiFi-access. The location is close... More

Hotel Mozart was everything we expected. Nice, clean and friendly. Dinner was included, as was the breakfast too. Better be careful, dinner had some sausages that were so greasy. Could not eat them. :) Over all, the hotel is recommeded by me, would stay again. Almost forgot, beds were wonderful, tha blankets and pillows were huge and puffy.

I stayed at the Mozart during the Easter break 2012 for three nights for a bit of skiing. It is on the side of the town but that doesn't matter because Bad Gastein is not very big and the centre is a 10 minute walk away. That way you can get to know a very beautiful town. The mountain views... More

This hotel is definitly worth the money. It is placed just beside the bus stop, so yu can easily get to both the centre of Bad Gastein and Bad Hofgastein ect. The food is a mixture of Austrian and international courses and every day you get to choose from two starters, two main courses together with dessert. The atmosphere is... More

A good hotel with perfect location, excellent food and nice staff. You get a nice breakfast and for dinner you can chose from 2 starters and 2 mains. Our room was big and the bed was very comfy. We also used the sauna a lot. The ski bus stops just outside the hotel and it takes you a few minutes... More

My partner and I arrived at Hotel Mozart for a week of snowboarding not knowing what to expect. Our accommodation was part of a package deal with Direct Ski and was a total surprise to us when we arrived in Austria. We were very pleasantly surprised. I would describe Mozart as comfortable. It is not exactly luxurious or modern but... More
