As we were traveling in our Morgan Sports Cars in a group, having safe, or relatively safe parking is our primary critieria in selecting a hotel. This hotel met that criteria. we were first given upstairs room 18 in the annex- a tiny room, with no room to walk around the bed, nor anywhere to place our suitcases. This room... More

Well positioned on the edge of town in walking distance of the beach and town centre. Our room in the annexe had a good view of the sea/ landing beaches. No traffic noise although some noise from adjoining room due to thin walls I assume . Decent parking. Breakfast looked expensive so ate elsewhere. The twin room at 80 euros... More

OhDear! stayed here on honeymoon. it really looked the part with the lovely exterior and rooms to match. How romantic - well it would have been if we had have managed to stay in the hotel. Instead we ended up in the annexe accross the road - not even in the grounds. it was an upstairs room in a crap... More

I wished I would have read all the reviews before booking this "hotel". This is crearly not what you expect when to make the internet reservation. Tiny rooms, old furniture, dirty bathroom, paper thin walls, a tv placed practically onto the closet. Very rood owner, who asked us to pay on arrival. Breakfast was basic and mathematically portioned: a croissant,... More

This hotel should be avoided at all costs. I consider myself to be a seasoned traveler as I work for a large well-known British Airline and have stayed in many hotels during my travels. We booked through the internet and on arrival had to pay up front for our whole stay, including breakfast. We should have known better as, after... More

We were in the quad room in what looked like a converted barn. Woke to discover our bed crawling with bed bugs. Proprietor appeared unconcerned.

Hotel is only a short walk away from Gold beach and the museum of the largest Mulberry harbour. Some of the rooms have view of the sea and of some of the WWII wave breakers. They were also very understanding towards our two dogs.

On our first night we were put in a quad room in what seemed to be a detached residence that had been converted into two quad rooms. The rooms were quite large but there were problems. First of all there was no door on the washroom. So you could be sitting in the tub and everybody else in the room... More

As there were very few options left we booked this hotel for a couple of nights. If you're looking for a place to crash and head on it is fine. The owner tends to rush things and of you do not show up for breakfast before nine, someone bangs your door unasked for...
