Very central hotel for all routes into the mountains. Reasonable rates and friendly staff. Never ate at the attached restaraunt although it was usually quite busy. Excellent views of the town. Very comfortable and clean room, although a fan in the loo would have been appreciated.

We did not stay at the hotel but ate at the pretty restaurant of the hotel, based on the descriptions of the posted menu. It was extremely disappointing. Service was poor and careless and food was substandard. Everything came either out of a can or the deep freeze with little addition of spice or love.

A grande dame with a new wing and refurbished bathrooms. Comfortable beds and a great cosiness in bar and dining areas. Safe storage for bikes and a very pleasant and courteous management. Excellent advice re shopping and touring.

Stopped at this hotel as we were too tired to carry on riding, I was given a garage for my bike then shown to a room which had the most comfiest new bed ever. Then had a shower in a really smart en suite complete with waterfall taps. I must say the shower was the best I have ever been... More

We spent one night in this hotel during our motorbiketrip. nothing to concern, nothing to point out. just a normal hotel, a old building, but the rooms are nice renovated. everything was clean and the view to the mountains was great. may be the mainstreet was a bit loud, but during the night i realized nothing. Stayed here mid May 2012. A warm welcome from le patron who was a keen cyclist and he had all the updates on the state of the Aubisque and the Tourmalet and showed us the webcam from the pic du something or other.
