I had to book this hotel the morning of flying for a 10 day holiday as our other holiday had been cancelled.
I’m so glad I did!
Lovely, somewhat dated in places, exceptionally clean and tidy hotel.
Pool area is lovely again spotlessly clean as with the bar and restaurant.
The food is really good quality, always good choices for fish, meats and salads and the cheesecake is wonderful 😁.
The staff are wonderful, so happy and helpful and really make you feel at home.
There is no entertainment but there is plenty of peace and quiet, there are bikes for hire and a tennis court too.
The hotel provide shuttle buses to quarteira and Vilamoura every day so if you want things a bit livelier it will only cost the price of a taxi back if you miss the shuttle back.
If you just want peace this is the place for you.

It would be lovely if the pool was heated and the mattresses could be a bit softer but you can’t have everything.
Will definitely be going back.
A big thank you to all the staff for making our holiday lovely.

Only a short 4 night trip with the wife, for a long weekend. We only had B&B but we did eat at the hotel on the 3rd night. Really great food, within a lovely atmosphere. Hotel staff were lovely and very helpful. We were staying in the upgraded area, with another pool and garden area. The location requires a car to get around, but the Hotel also offers a free shuttle bus throughout the day, between hotel and Quarteira town and short 5min walk to Beach.

3 star hotel with a matching 3 star experience.

Positives - pool area is decent, aircon worked quite well (note not all rooms have it), beds are comfortable enough.

Breakfast is by far the worst hotel breakfast I’ve ever had. It’s utterly atrocious. In fact all the food here is very poor.

The draft beer in the bar absolutely stinks, not sure the lines have ever been cleaned. The drinks are incredibly expensive, and the bartender is rude and aggressive.

I’ve never stayed in a hotel that didn’t offer shampoo / conditioner etc., so that was a first.

Location is away from everything, but there are some good spots nearby. Tiramisu is a good bar just a short walk away, and Lidl is about 1.1km walk. Waterpark is very close if that’s you’re thing.

Overall, wasn’t impressed.

We were staying in this hotel from Tuesday 7th to Wednesday 15th June. Myself and my friend were out in a tiny room 110 in a corner facing a wall where the cleaners left their cleaning stuff, there was a small patio area that was absolutely filthy and covered in dog ends. The shower was filthy and the shower door leaked. We complained and we got moved to a much larger room but straight away we could not get the electricity working and the wardrobe door was hanging off. We had someone try and out the door back but couldn’t, next day they managed but we could not close the door the whole holiday. The electrics did not work without fiddling with the key and would quite often just cut off. We complained but nothing was done. We were there 8 nights and not once was our room cleaned or sheets replaced. We asked and they said they would have a word but still no cleaning was done. The cleaners would bring clean towels but we went three days without clean one at one point and had to go and ask for toilet paper as it was never renewed. Staff very unfriendly and breakfast very poor food. We had a kettle in our room but no tea coffee sugar milk etc! Electrics were sparking all the time and hotel is just tired and no room cleaning done!

What a fab hotel and staff. Had a short break and the hotel was spot on. Clean rooms which were cleaned everyday. The room had a fridge a kettle and cups as well as an ironing board and iron. The food was delicious and plenty of choice. Snack bar was great. Staff were very helpful and loved that we tried to speak in Portuguese. The shuttle bus that runs to Quarteira and Vilamoura is spot on and costs nothing. All in all we had a great stay and were very comfortable. I would highly recommend this place. Having just read some of the negative comments I would say come and judge for yourself.

Stayed here 11th till 14th September. Honestly its the worst place I have ever stayed. The all inclusive is a joke. Cant get a soft drink till 11am. Food was the same everyday. Staff are rude and very unhelpful. The room was OK but the corridors are dark and long. We were not told that the shuttle service was not running so cost alot in taxis going into town to get food that we could actually eat. Never went in the pool. Couldn't buy snacks after 10pm as the bar was closed. I would not return here. Was looking at flights home on my first morning.

I had 10 days in this hotel, however it was not a good experience. First of all it was ants, spiders and mosquitos in the room (1 floor). I asked to clean it, but they just cleaned normally without doing anything extra. The next day was the same. I had ants in my bed.
Daily amount of ants in room was most probably 200-300. After they had sprayed chemicals they Didnt clean the room and it was dead ants all over the place. This was ongoing for 6-7 days and after that i got s New room. Even that room (2 floor) had same problem.
Then i got a New room in a different area (3xx) where everything worked fine first day. Second day AC was not working and the last night befor i was Leaving it was 10 persons having party in first floor. I was not able to sleep that night. When i asked for discount they said it was not possible, Even after seeing all the dead ants and spiders!
The personen in the bar in the day time do not know how to make drinks or give service as well.
Stay away from this hotel!

We are currently staying at this hotel. Can't fault it. Location is 10 minute walk to lidl and the weekly gyspy market. 35 minutes into centre of quarteira. They do run a shuttle bus if you don't want to walk. There is a nice country walk if you take 1st right out of hotel, brings you out just past lidl. Hotel is peaceful and quiet. There are 2 small restaurants 5 minutes walk away, and the vilasol complex nearby.
Rooms comfy with good heating/air con. Satellite TV. Cleaned daily and towels changed every day. Standard rooms have a ground floor terrace, superior rooms have balcony plus kettle and fridge and are larger.
Very good buffet breakfast, although the hotel is really quiet at the moment. Lovely pool area,
Bar prices are very expensive compared to local prices, and a happy hour would be nice, so we did not utilise the bar.
If you like peace and quiet and enjoy walking I would recommend this hotel. There are very few British guests here, and if you want a more lively or central location it may not be for you, but overall its a great hotel.

Our 1st visit to Portugal and we chose this hotel after reading reviews. It was said to be a 10 minute walk to the town of Quarteria, only if you were Mo Farah. The hotel was a really nice find, very clean and very helpful. We got on really well with the bar manager, The only minus thing was, it was a real hike along corridors to and from reception (we were in room 121) I have trouble walking and sometimes had to stop and rest for a spell. The other minus point was not enough spare sockets for charging electronical items. There was a small triple socket hidden down the side of the bed. To plug the kettle in you had to unplug the fridge. Best tip, download the Uber app to get around, massive saving on taxi prices (more than double Uber prices) The buffet style evening meal got a tad boring, every night is was either fish or chicken. One night they did a carbonara but all in all I'm glad we didn't do full board. Highly recommend as a base to explore, but then there isn't much to explore. It was a nice introduction to Portugal
