The small town is great with lots of fresh air and a lovely park. The hotel is really well decorated. However, it lacks some basics for a 4star hotel. It doesn´t have room-service or mini bar. The hotel's central location, nice breakfast, good range of services (from an outstanding pool to tennis courts) and refurbished bathrooms are the aspects that make this old hotel worth a visit. Despite an outdated outside aspect, this hotel is really top class, well located close to the Buçaco park and thermal springs.
