This hotel was what you would expect from a premier Inn. Free parking near the town centre by use of a voucher system. The reception staff were freindly and helpful. The room was warm in the cold weather with an electric heater on a thermostatic room control. The room was tidy and clean and the bed confortable. A good powerfull... more

My wife and I traveled from America to Romford to visit family and see the London sights. We actually stayed here twice - once when we first arrived, then we returned two weeks so we could catch a flight back home. It was exactly as we expected both time - good value, clean, hotel. Our first room was streetside. Some... more

Premier Inn is a basic hotel ideal for a short stay. We booked at the last minute for a one night stay and the only room available was for the disabled. It was clean and spacious but out-dated. Unfortunately it was on the ground floor next to the restaurant. We were woken at 4.00am by the cleaning staff hoovering in... more

My first stay at a Premier Inn went well. The hotel was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The rooms were of a very good size and so was the bathroom which was also very clean and of a good standard. The receptionists were not as friendly as the ones on the Tv advert, but we were only staying... more

I regularly use this hotel as a base for work I do on the railways in East London as it is very easy to get everywhere due to the proximity of Romford Station and the frequency of the trains. I personally think Central London hotels are a rip off and I need my car to travel down there anyway, so... more

Great bed. Friendly staff. Woke to the sound of birdsong rather than traffic which was a surprise. Penny-pinching soap and gel dispensers in the bath room. Excellent breakfast spread, but then a poor cooked breakfast. Bacon like leather and 6 out of ten for the fried egg. Worse, the coffee was like liquid brown bread. When the waiter heard this,... more

This is a nice simple hotel. Rooms are large, clean and comfortable. The attached the pub (Liberty Bell) sells good food, though expensive. Same applies to the beer! The centre of Romford is a 2 minute walk away across the road, that has a variety of bars, fast food, restuarants and clubs. more

Construction taking place onsite, therefore slightly noisey, and exterior landscape was messy, slight bit a of trash upon arrival to walk-up to reception, we walked over a plastic bag and trash on steps for a day before we finally picked it up and tossed it in the bin. Quick journey by foot to Romford Station, only 1/2 mile. No frills,... more
