I stayed here for one night and had a very enjoyable stay. I ate in the restaurant and the food was very tasty and locally sourced. The service throughout was excellent, with the service I received from reception being worthy of special mention. Being shown to my room rather than just pointing me in the right direction was much appreciated... More

An "almost" hotel. When I booked I asked for a suite, having viewed them online at the hotel's website. As my wife has some mobility problems I was pleased that a ground floor suite was available. THE GOOD BITS First impressions were good, newly refurbished public areas and our room was very clean and also refurbished to a high standard.... More

We chose to hold our wedding reception at Gwesty'r Emlyn after a church service held locally end of March. All the staff were so helpful, friendly and couldn't do enough to make us and our guests feel special. Service and food was to an extremely high standard. Special thanks to Keith and Jane, you were both so helpful in the... More

Stayed here for one night last weekend and thought it was a lovely hotel. The staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcome, the room was spotlessly clean and modernly furnished. Lovely comfy beds and a lovely shower. Breakfast was lovely with a good slelection on the menu, we didn't eat here in the evening but heard others... More

I was one of 10 golfers who stayed at this excellent hotel. The staff were friendly, the food very good and the rooms comfortable and clean. The decor was to an extremely high standard as were the facilities available. Keith, the General Manager, transported us to a different golf course during the 3 days we played and we saw a... More

Absolutely loved our stay at this hotel situated in this West Wales market town. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent. Loved the welsh breakfast. The suite room was clean, well furnished, tastefully decorated and modern. Lovely restful break. Highly recommended.

We stayed at this hotel 19/20 April overall the hotel is very nice and the food in restaurant you couldn't fault, plus the staff were friendly and very pleasant. Now for the 'but'. We were put in room 22 which is a single room with a double bed squeezed in. It's obvious by the single headboard on the wall, only... More

Running late and booked here on way, overall a nice place to stay; staff generally excellent, rooms a little too corporate and noisy, food good but a little too ambitious for the chef to execute properly.

Recently stayed a night with friends for bit of R&R, and a nice stay it was too! By luck we had room 1 which is in the annexe, next to the Gym and Sauna (not that we used it!) as my wife has problems with her Hip it meant no stairs to climb so great! The room was exceptional good.... More

I was a late arrival from the ferry and it seems there is no-one on reception past 11pm so I'd advise to ring ahead to arrange checkin if you will be late. There is an extra surcharge for this to cover someone working late. However, when I did arrive, I noticed that the bar was still serving and it was... More
