Recently had the pleasure of staying here after an exhausting day of snowboarding with my son. The pleasant and attentive staff combined with a very comfortable room made for a most enjoyable evening. Service, food and atmosphere in the dining room were top notch. No problem recommending this property.

Hotel is very outdated. Stains on the carpet, blood stains on the sheets, bugs in the ac unit. Wrinkly, stained blankets. No fridge in the room and none available. No gym, everything about this hotel is out dated by about 20 Years or more!!! The only new thing was the flat screen tv whose reception was very snowy.

We stayed here overnight a couple of weeks ago when we were stranded on the TCH because of a traffic accident. stayed here on business..staff are friendly and we ate in the diner which served good food with really friendly and helpful staff (as long as you dont stay past 9pm -). Stayed here a couple of times during an extensive trip around Newfoundland. Positives: The front desk was friendly and helpful and the rooms are enormous and well equipped (fridge and coffee maker). Stayed at St jude for a week in july/12. Hotel is well maintained and quiet. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a good restaurant where you can enjoy a good meal. It's close to shopping area in Clarenville. Would definitely stay there again.

Perfect location halfway between Corner Brook and St. John's. The hotel has a restaurant - which I have not tried. The rooms are appropriate, furnished with coffe-maker and fridge, ground floor rooms provide 2 doors (one in corridor, one outside). It is located right on Hwy 1, so expect some traffic noise but nothing overwhelming. Good value for the money.
