I was in the area for business and found that La Cima Hotel has closed after the las weekend of July 2012. Don't know what will become of it. The Chinese Restaurant in its grounds is still open. As on now, it is uncertain if a new owner/management will reopen this hotel.

I get assigned a room on the third floor, but I request to a room near by the pool. Which they did very nicely.
