We have stayed here twice and have both times had a wonderful time. The rooms are clean and comfy with a beautiful view of the valley, and the animals are all friendly and will gladly accept grass to eat. The owners are really nice and helpful, too. Our dog really enjoyed playing with the two dogs that live there, Rosie and Toby, and the creek is beautiful. We definitely want to go back again.

We spent 4 nights at lovely Bumblebrook farm over Xmas with our dog. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by Jo who throughout our stay could not have been more accommodating. Our cabin was perfect with glorious views & everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Torrential rain was not a deterrent to enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Candelo. Thanks Jo & Family we will definitely be back.

Unfortunately, the host hasn't responded to me about one of my concerns so I feel it is important to make note of some of the issues we found. 1. I think there could be basic problems with the booking information that the host received. We had paid to bring pets along, but the host seemed surprised that we had brought them. 2. I injured my food at the beach and didn't know where the first aid, doctors or hospital were. This kind of information, a compendium of nearby services, is simple to put together to help guests.   3. The breakfast hamper had a tiny 15 gram jar of jam, a small jar of relish and a small homemade loaf of bread. There were 6 eggs, a litre of juice and a litre of milk. We didn't find the bacon until we were packing up, as it was in the fridge on the top shelf and not visible. We paid for 3 breakfasts which I expected to be 3 hampers. 4. The unit didn't feel clean to me at all. When I was making coffee in the morning there were ants inside the container with the coffee capsules. When I opened the glass plunger that was provided, it had someone else's tea leaves from a previous stay. 5. On arrival, there was a pile of rodent droppings just outside the door of the verandah. 6. There were no fly screen doors. 7. Everything in the unit is tired (paint work, linen etc..). The floors were very badly scratched, and the carpets didn't feel clean. 8. We felt very cramped in the living area. 9. The wooden dining chair my daughter sat on was not screwed on and wobbled a lot. 10. The "Secure Dog Enclosure" that is advertised on the website is basically a small area under the verandah.   (I don't think the RSPCA would even approve of it). 11. The farm is located opposite a rubbish tip. The farm has some nice views, and it is peaceful. However, it just isn't up to basic cleanliness standards that most people expect and it is very overpriced.

Our stay with Jo and Andy was a highlight of our cycle tour. The motel units are comfortable, well-appointed (including Nespresso and quality appliances) and have beautiful linen. The views from the units were spectacular, including the highland cattle, goats, sheep and an alpaca with a funky hairdo. As we were on a package, luggage transfer and meals were included. Dinner was scrumptious, home-made and catered for dietary preferences. Self-catering breakfast included home-baked bread and local produce. Jo was very obliging about late check-out when our plans changed overnight.

Bumblebrook is all you could ask for a revitalisation of a soul thrashed by everyday busy life. Beautiful scenery, and so quiet! We were welcomed by a friendly hostess and two exuberant dogs who made us feel like visiting royalty. The accommodation is not 5-star. It doesn't pretend to be, and it doesn't cost anything like a 5-star hotel. But it is very comfortable and really caters to all your needs. I really never once felt I needed anything else. Bumblebrook is near the small town of Candelo, but it is a very easy drive to any of the coastal towns from Bateman's Bay to Eden. Highly recommended. Thanks, Jo, for a wonderful week.

We stayed 2 nights in a Studio Room here. Jo was the perfect host. Nothing was too much trouble. We received a breakfast basket of ham and eggs and home baked bread. She was worried the bread wasn't cooked quite enough and offered to bake another. It was fine for us and delicious. The farm has beautiful Scottish Highland Cows, Goats, Sheep and other animals. Toby the 6 month old foxie was our best friend. The views are beautiful. If I am to be totally honest here I would say the room was a little tired and could do with a lick of paint but having said that it was clean and comfortable. This would be a great stop for families.

Friendly owner Jo showed us her adorable flock of sheep (and a trainee puppy sheep dog), an alpaca, well as her cute small horses which we can hand feed and pet. Lovely homely cabin with a comfortable bed and sofa in colour coordinated shades of blue added to the pleasure of our stay! Beautiful surroundings and view! Waking up to the sound of chirping birds and fresh mountain air is wonderful change from waking up to the sound of alarm bells and smog in the city. Jo indly provided us with a breakfast basket and freshly cut fragrant jonquils adding to the charm of the delightful cabin. Enjoyed our stay tremendously! Ps: We note that the solitary 1 star review was given under the previous owner. The current owner took over in November 2018.

Sensational place for a family holiday! I used to go there when I was a kid. We're now taking our young family there, and they love it. Coming from the city, our kids just loved being outside on the farm, and entertained themselves for hours at a time. The setting for us adults was incredibly peaceful. The cabins themselves are well-presented. And the new owners/hosts, Jo & Andy, are wonderfully friendly and accommodating. Looking forward to our next stay there!

Great farm stay property. Nothing too fancy but the new owners are doing all they can to improve it further. Spectacular views and the kids loved playing with the farm animals. Great to sit outside during the evening with a glass of red and using the outside bbq and fires. Our little ones made friends with the owners children and were all allowed to play together on their playground allowing us to relax even more. A visit to the farm creek for a swim was great. Relaxing and very reasonably priced. Owners very friendly and accommodating so we stayed an extra night.
