We visited the Indian Ocean Hotel in Scarborough Beach and loved it. The staff couldn't have been friendlier and it was a close walk to the beach. The breakfast was more than enough and they had a machine which actually made hot tea.. So many hotels give you lukewarm water to make tea and the water was very hot.

Business trip, so only needed a bed and breakfast for overnight. What can I say, horrible experience. Noisy bar downstairs, noisy people outside, room really tatty. Ended up staying here before due to travel agent mistake made, but never again. They should change this building into serviced apartments and get rid of the bottle shop next door and noise bar.
