The employee's was nice, but this place was old and had to change rooms the first time,
due to the lock would not work on the outside. The room smelled of cigarette smoke and it
was a non smoking room.

Basic and moderately clean. The cleaning crew were throwing sheets on the outdoor staircases ( no elevators) making it particularly dangerous to carry luggage to and from your room. Its nice to see their linens are so cared for! My bf and I were checking out and U noticed what may have been a cultural difference. I had said thank...

Average, tidy but not sparkling clean. Typical Days Inn breakfast, but we went across the street to the IHOP since it sounded better. It's near a grocery store and gas station, which is nice if you're on a road trip and need somewhere basic to stay.

I called Days inn and they informed me that they only had one room left which was handicapped and smoking. I decided to take it although I...

Stayed at the Days Inn at Salem,Va. just south of Roanoke on I-81 on the last night on our trip home. It's about 2 miles off I-81 so it's a little out of the way but easy enough to find. Lots of signs saying where it's at. The young lady that checked us in was very pleasent which was nice...

Well, I work for a photography company and I choose this hotel because it was suppose to be close to downtown Salem. It is not! It is further then you would think. I decided I wanted to cancel my room or at least get it changed to another Days Inn. The staff was rude when I asked them about how...
